Pet Peeve

In these trying economic times, I find it more than difficult to believe that certain people still have jobs. To wit:

CINCINNATI -- It's not easy to find a job these days, so some people are turning to plastic surgery to get an edge.

Some jobseekers near middle-age told News 5 talked to said that competing against younger talent can be tough and that...

If it weren't so sad I'd laugh. I contacted notified WLWT yesterday regarding this error and now can only surmise that not only can they not write, they also cannot read.

I weep for this country.

What exactly do you feed a pet peeve?
Are their non pet peeves still free in the wild, a sort of free range peeve?
Do you have to walk your peeve or is it housebroken?
Do these peeves breed like tribbles?
Does Bob Barker recommend that you have them spayed or neutered?
If a peeve left new york traveling backwards at 75 mph into a black whole making only left hand turns on a one way street without it's lights on in broad daylight while in park what time would it reach Greenland? Or not

I try to not even read internet "news" stories any more than I have to for that very reason. Don't these wannabe journalists have editors? no just throw whatever crap they feel like out there. I guess most of them are 20 something interns who pride themselves on typing 95 wpm and have no clue what they are typing or care whether it makes any sense to the reader. Just throw it out there, nobody will notice. No one answers friendly criticism anymore either when they include an email address at the bottom of a story. Companies tend to ignore emails from me too for some reason. Sorry, but I call stupidity when I see it.
